Over 100 new B&R products UL certified

All B&R products prove their high level of functionality and reliability within the framework of an acceptance test by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in the USA. In addition to meeting all criteria for UL compliant construction, the new automation components distinguish themselves through a high level of durability even in the harshest operating conditions.

B&R automation components meet all criteria for UL compliant construction and distinguish themselves through a high level of durability even in the harshest operating conditions.

More than 100 new components went through a strict safety inspection for UL certification. The numerous stress tests include temperature and high voltage tests, among other tests. Also, simulation of technical defects on components is part of the main requirements during UL testing.

The new servo drives also meet the strict test criteria. Thanks to a cleverly designed cooling concept, the products offer a great deal of construction freedom. Cold plate mounting is available in addition to wall and feed-through mounting. This cooling concept saves money and guarantees the highest level of reliability even in the harshest environmental conditions.

The newly listed X20 SafeIOs also provide top performance and high reliability in harsh industrial environments. The I/Os are characterized by a high resistance to failures under increased operating loads and can be ideally used for centralized or decentralized tasks.

With successful UL certification of all new products, B&R guarantees that their customers are provided high-quality products that meet all of the criteria placed on robust industrial components.
