Parker’s P1Q Series Global Cylinders with a space-saving, economical design

Parker Hannifin has unveiled a series of cylinders that feature a space-saving and economical design — the P1Q Series Global Compact Cylinders.

Ideally suited for a number of applications, the P1Q cylinder offers modular flexibility at a low cost price point. It also features a pressure range of up to 145 psi and a temperature range of 23°F to 158°F.

P1Q Series Global Cylinders

Providing an ideal solution to the needs of machine builders, the P1Q series features a hard coat anodized surface and pre-energized piston seal. It is available in 10 bore sizes while standard stroke ranges between 5 mm and 100 mm. Customers can also specify for magnetic or non-magnetic construction as well as for male and female rod options. Although threaded holes are the standard mounting option, customers can also select from the company’s four additional modular mounting configurations.

Its built-in bumpers, which are offered as standard on all bore sizes, enable the cylinders to deliver quieter operation. A piston band is also fitted in bore sizes 40 mm to 100 mm, offering these cylinders with superior life.

Whenever piston sensing is required, the integrated switch grooves offer flexible mounting of any combination of PNP, NPN and reed sensors with M8, flying leads or M12 cord options from Parker P8S Global Sensor Family.
