PHD, Inc. revolutionized pneumatic actuators with the innovative Tom Thumb® Cylinder over 55 years ago. Today, PHD is setting the standard in industrial automation actuators with Optimax®, a product line that broadens PHD’s range of product offerings and provides machine builders and end users with more choices.

Built on the foundation of long-life products for industrial automation, PHD Optimax actuators are designed to meet machine builders’ performance requirements at a competitive price. These economical, efficient, and reliable actuators provide an alternative choice to PHD’s standard “built-to-order” product line, delivering even more cost-effective solutions to meet industrial application needs.

In a continuing effort to expand the Optimax product line, PHD is proud to release a drop-in replacement cylinder and linear slide targeted to the OEM market. Optimax Series OCG Round Body Pneumatic Cylinders and Series OSX Light Duty Pneumatic Thruster Slides are designed to be extremely versatile and economical for use in the machine builders’ market.
