MIDDLETOWN, PA – Between the economy and the volcano in Iceland, few Americans will be able to make the trip to this year’s Hanover Fair (Hannover Messe) in Hanover, Germany. Phoenix Contact makes it easy to stay up-to-date with daily video updates from the show.
The reports will be posted in the News Room section of the company Website (http://www.phoenixcontact.com/service/53180_57257.htm) and on its YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/phoenixcontactusa). Videos will be available by 10 a.m. Eastern time, April 20 through 23.The five- to ten-minute reports will feature customer and employee interviews, product launches and other news from the show.
“We realize that the economy makes it difficult for many American companies to attend the Hanover Fair this year. Additionally, the volcanic eruption in Iceland has forced most who planned to go to cancel their trips,” said Jack Nehlig, president of Phoenix Contact USA. “Despite these complications, U.S. engineers can still get a glimpse into the broad range of innovations presented at the show through these videos. We hope that next year, more American automation professionals will be able to make the trip to see these solutions first-hand and to discover new markets.
Hanover Fair is the world’s largest industrial technology fair. In 2009, more than 210,000 visitors attended the show. Phoenix Contact has exhibited at Hanover Fair since 1957.
