Polarized, CR2 & CR123A Lithium Battery Holders

By Natasha Townsend | June 15, 2012

A broad, new selection of polarized SMT and THM CR2 and CR123A Lithium Battery Holders has joined Keystone Electronics’ roster of premium battery holders.  With polarized contacts, a principal design feature, the advanced design holders accommodate all CR2 or CR123A batteries from major manufacturers.

Equipped with heat resistant Nylon housings, the entries are suited for traditional soldering and reflow processing.  Surface Mount types feature Gold-plated Phosphor Bronze contacts assuring low contact resistance and superior solder joints where lead-free soldering or reflow processes are employed.  Thru-Hole Mount versions are equipped with Tin-plated Phosphor Bronze contacts.

A wide range of applications includes:  OEM photographic, medical, consumer and industrial electronics.  For Surface Mount CR2 holders request Cat. #1010 (bulk) or Cat. #1010TR for tape and reel.  For THM CR2 holders request Cat. #1011.  For Surface Mount CR123A holders request Cat. #1050 (bulk) or Cat. #1050TR for tape and reel.  For Thru-Hole Mount for CR123A holders ask for Cat. #1051.

The new polarized Lithium Battery Holders are the latest examples of Keystone’s innovative role for engineering battery connectivity products including Contacts, Holders, Retainers and Straps.  Added to these are quality interconnects, hardware and components.
