Most MISUMI precision linear shaft can be configured in 1mm increments. They have a consistent hardening depth and
a light pre-load. This minimizes clearance design between the shaft and
the bushing. This allows for smoother, more precise and quieter
operation. Outside diameter sizes range from 3 to 50mm and lengths from 10 to 1500mm. Shafts come in 52100 bearing steel and 440C stainless steel. The company has several end designs available, as well as surface finishes, materials, and shapes to meet specific applications. End designs include length tolerance, relief, V-groove, key groove, wrench flats, set screw flats, and more.
