Noran Engineering, Inc. recently released a new simulation product, NEiFusion. The product breaks new ground by coupling two software technologies from the design and analysis disciplines – 3D feature based, parametric CAD for model creation, and high accuracy Nastran solvers. NEiFusion virtually tests parts during the design phase for a range of static and dynamic structural and thermal conditions in a CAD environment. This combination will promote the integration of design and analysis.
The software’s geometry technology uses an FEA model development process familiar to CAD users. The solid modeling engine is intuitive, robust, and powerful, and has been used extensively in 3D CAD systems. The Nastran Solvers are accurate, quick, and reliable with time-tested solutions for structural, thermal, modal, and dynamic engineering problems. The Nastran foundation ensures that its programs offer wide file sharing capabilities and direct migration paths to higher end analysis if needed. In addition, NEiFusion includes a comprehensive suite of features for results evaluation, presentation, and reporting.
