PTI Engineered Plastics announced the groundbreaking for expansion of their high-tech facility. The expansion will encompass 36,000 square feet and bring with it new technology and jobs.
The expansion is scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2012, and will provide the modern plant with an overall footprint of 150,000 square feet. According to Mark Rathbone, CEO, “Our continued commitment to be in the forefront of our customers’ needs and expectations spurred this decision.”
“Along with this expansion we plan on increasing our workforce”, said Rathbone. “There will be opportunity in the advanced skilled areas of mold making, the engineering department, as well as general manufacturing.” Today, PTI Engineered Plastics, has 230 employees and with this growth, plans to add 50-plus jobs over the next two years.
