SAN DIEGO (AP) — Chip maker Qualcomm raised its regular quarterly dividend by a penny to 17 cents.
The increase takes effect for all quarterly dividends paid after March 27.
In January, Qualcomm said its fiscal first-quarter income dropped 56 percent, saying the global economic slowdown and financial crisis had slowed demand for its chips, which run many of the world’s mobile phones.
