Allied Motion’s new RAB 30 series of right-angle gearmotors are specifically designed for battery-powered medical mobility equipment such as wheelchair, scooter, and patient lifts. The RAB 30 is engineered for long life and high load capacity, featuring a precision ground worm, nitrile seals, permanently lubricated bearings, and a rugged cast aluminum gearbox
RAB 30 winding designs accommodate voltages from 12 to 240 VDC. Rated no-load output speeds range from 40 to 180 RPM and continuous torque range is rated from 50 to 100 lb-in (5.6 to 11.2 Nm). Options include class H winding insulation, weather-proof (IP65) design, holding brake, and custom leads or connectors.
