Nashua, NH ‚– Rapid Sheet Metal, Inc. announced that its new in-house, high power laser is reducing cutting lead-times of flat parts by up to 50%, enabling the company to meet even tighter turnaround times for its customers.
After a comprehensive review of existing laser technology, Rapid Sheet Metal purchased a Cincinnati CL-7A 4000 watt laser with the dual pallet option, complementing its 2000 watt Cincinnati CL-6 laser purchased in 2006. Cutting at speeds up to 600 inches per minute, the CL-7A can laser up to ?‚†thick aluminum and stainless steel, and ‚½‚†thick steel plate.
