ProtoPlant, a startup in Vancouver, WA, has launched three new 3D printing materials via Kickstarter, which include high-temperature PLA, polycarbonate-ABS alloy, and Proto-Pasta, a carbon fiber-infused PLA material. With 15% carbon fiber by weight, the Proto-Pasta material creates light and rigid components.
With five days remaining, the team has already passed their initial $25,000 goal. Support the project and get your own carbon fiber filament by visiting Kickstarter.
