Renishaw Inc. appoints MillenniTEK as U.S. reseller of vacuum casting systems and consumables

Renishaw Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Renishaw plc, has appointed MillenniTEK of Knoxville, Tennessee, as its reselling partner for vacuum casting consumables and systems in the U.S. MillenniTEK will offer the full range of Renishaw vacuum casting systems, material and consumables along with service and installation.

Renishaw“MillenniTEK’s expertise in the manufacture of high-quality, high-tolerance ceramic components in a variety of technical materials makes the company a natural for this new role,” said Dave Bozich, Business Manager, Renishaw Inc. “MillenniTEK’s experience includes the manufacture of general and safety-related nuclear components, as well as naval armor products, so they have excellent depth in both the technical and quality demands of very stringent customers.”

With a fully equipped machine shop and staff of design engineers, MillenniTEK specializes in investment casting, continuous casting, castable refractories, and isostatic pressing (CIP), powder compaction, ceramic machining and tool making utilizing ceramic inserts.

Renishaw offers vacuum casting as a complementary technology to its 3D additive metal systems for the production of high-quality prototypes and short-run production parts. The company incorporates and uses the parts produced by its vacuum casting systems in its own finished products, confirming the high quality of the manufacturing technology.
