RFMW (San Jose, CA) has announced design and sales support for the TGA2813, a 100W GaN power amplifier targeted for RADAR applications from 3.1 to 3.6GHz. TriQuint’s bias flexibility supports a variety of system requirements. The TGA2813 is available as a 5.4 x 6.7 x 0.1mm DIE with blocking caps on both RF ports matched to 50 ohms, making this TriQuint GaN PA ideal for commercial and military RADAR systems. Features include:
- 55% PAE supporting both short and long pulse operation with good thermal properties.
- Large signal gain up to 22dB.
- 30V bias draws a quiescent current of 135-550mA.
