Designed to also function as Von Weise Drop-In Replacements, the Bison Gear VWDIR23 gearmotors are available in 6 standard 90 volt DC input models. With gear ratios from 37:1 to 525:1, corresponding fixed output speeds range from 90 to 3 RPM, and output torques from 34 to 250 in-lbs (3.8 to 28.3 N-m). These Bison drop-in replacements for VW23 and VW33 gearmotors feature 1/10 or 1/20 hp (75 or 150 watt) permanent magnet DC motors with replaceable brushes, grease lubrication for long life and all-position mounting, with left, right or dual output shafts with a 100 lb. (45.4 kg.) overhung load rating.
