MIDDLETOWN, PA ‚– The new RT-series of ring lug terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact provides secure and touch-safe connection for cables fitted with ring lug terminals.
The RT product range includes feed-through and ground terminal blocks for cables fitted with ring lugs in sizes from 1.5 mm2 through 35 mm2. Special terminal blocks are also available for connecting current transformers in power supply applications.
Hinged flaps and built-in cap nuts make the terminal blocks touch-safe after wiring. The cap nuts are held securely in position, so that wiring is easy, even in cramped control cabinets. The terminal blocks have additional marking areas on each hinged cover, as well as on the top marking channel.
The lower-priced RTO version is identically sized and offers the same bridging and upper marking channel as the RT, but comes without a hinged cover and captive nut. It is designed for applications where shock protection is not required.
The RT series is part of Phoenix Contact‚’s CLIPLINE Complete system, which features standardized push-in bridging, marking and testing accessories for all connection technologies.
