Rogers Corporation to Exhibit a Range of Performance Silicone Foams

Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG), represented by its High Performance Foams Division (HPF), will be exhibiting its portfolio of performance silicone materials at the upcoming Aircraft Interiors Expo 2014.

Aircraft Interiors Expo 2014 is the leading international event for emerging designs in cabin interiors, in-flight entertainment, connectivity and passenger services, in addition to aircraft design and construction. It is scheduled for April 8-10 at the Hamburg Messe in Hamburg, Germany. Rogers’ High Performance Foams Division will feature materials to make each flight safer and more enjoyable, all while easing the job of the designer.

From short flights to global travel, a smooth, quiet ride with comfortable seating can make all the difference for fliers, while materials with proven performance can help simplify the aircraft design process. Rogers BISCO® Silicone materials offer the best of both worlds by improving the flight experience and offering designers materials that have been trusted for decades.

Applications for these silicone materials include sealing, gap-filling, carpet padding, fire and acoustic barriers, and seating. All BISCO silicone materials are designed to meet applicable aviation, Airbus, and Boeing flame-resistance, smoke, and toxicity requirements, including:
