ROLEC profiPLUS suspension arms now in two models

By Lee Teschler | October 23, 2018

Advanced profiPLUS designer suspension arms are now available in two models – 50 and 70. Elegant and ergonomic profiPLUS (IP 54) offers a huge range of couplings, joints and sections to create the perfect suspension arm for displays and HMI command enclosures.

ROLEC profiPLUS is quick and easy to install – either vertically, horizontally or on the Rolecfloor. It offers alignment of the complete system in a horizontal direction through a single set screw.

The two models – 50 (2.03-in. wide) and 70 (2.76-in. wide) – offer a choice of load and cable capacities. They have been designed to integrate with ROLEC’s latest multiPANEL and commandCASE enclosures.

Each profiPLUS model offers more than 40 different components including 30 couplings (hanging and upright in both rotary and ‘turn and tilt’ configurations); three highly stable ball-shaped joints (wall, socket, intermediate) and five support profiles (from 9.84 to 59 in.). All system parts feature integrated cable protection. The routing is suitable for HDMI, patch cables, DVI, USB and cold-device plugs.

Console couplings have reduced installation depths to save space. The profiPLUS 50 also offers specialized adapters for display panels including Siemens, B&R, CRE Rösler and Beckhoff. A VESA adaptor is also available.

All system components are manufactured from cast aluminum (light gray, RAL 7035) while the support profiles are in silver anodized aluminum. Installation covers are molded from Polyoxymethylene (POM), the seals are Chloroprene (CR) and the bellows are plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-P). They are all dark gray.

Customizing options include bespoke colors with powder coating of the main system components and a choice of anodizing for the support profiles.
