TROY, MI ‚– ROSS CONTROLS is proud to announce it is partnering with Ohio-based engineering firm, LJB, Inc. to present “Total Machine Safety,” a seminar designed to educate maintenance supervisors, safety engineers, safety managers, engineering managers and skilled maintenance technicians how to improve productivity and reduce risks in the workplace. ROSS continues its long-standing tradition of
customer education and safety training with the first-ever fully integrated electrical and fluid power machine safeguarding training program.
ROSS’ decades of experience training customers and helping solve their safety issues has demonstrated that a thorough approach to safety control system evaluation and design is the best method for the success of one’s safety program. This eight-hour course will also address how integrating machine safeguarding early in the machine design process can be beneficial to a company‚’s bottom line. Topics to be covered include current safety standards, hazard and risk assessment, integration of safety devices, lockout/tagout, and pneumatic and electrical components.
The Total Machine Safety courses are eligible for 0.7 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 7 PDH (Professional Development Hour) credits. Attendants will receive a
comprehensive workbook with a detailed reference material appendix and a one-year
to the bimonthly Total Machine Safety e-newsletter. Registration for the course costs $495, and $350 for every additional registrant from the same organization.
