Safety Interlock Switches

FREMONT, CA – Omron Scientific Technologies, Inc., introduces two new hinge-operated safety interlock switches ideally suited for use on smaller guard doors. The HP2008 Series is compact at 25mm (0.98 in.) wide x 85.5mm (3.37 in.) long, while the HP2011 Series has a slim 25mm (0.98 in.) x 115.5mm (4.55 in.) profile. Both are quick and easy to install, and can be mounted on square tubing as small as 1 inch in width.

These switches come in solid or hollow shaft versions and provide force-guided contacts with tamper-resistant operation. With their NEMA 6 enclosure, they can withstand water washdown cleaning while providing a minimum of four million actuations on small swinging guard doors. Each has a 360° rotating head that rotates in 90° increments to give four possible shaft operating positions.

HP2008 and HP2011 hinge-operated safety interlocks conform to European safety standards, carry the CE mark, are UL and C-UL listed, and BG approved.
