Safety monitoring relay and sensor in one from elobau

elobau extends the application possibilities of the compact systems 171 K1 B1 with the new compact unit 171 K4 B1. It can be operated with 230 V instead of 24 V and may be integrated into machines where there is no low voltage supply due to cost or space constraints.

elobau maintained all the benefits of the 24 V model, among them the integrated evaluation electronic. It offers a direct, potential-free control output and a safety output which can handle up to 250 V AC/30 V DC/2.5 A/625 VA/75 W. Both compact units 171 K4 B1 and 171 K1 B1 are especially small and easy to install with a length of 81 mm and a M30 diameter of the TO-style can. Due to the high damping distance of 7 mm they are especially suited for the monitoring of protection doors and hatches.

Both compact units from elobau are fitted with a two-colored LED which signals the relevant status. The user can spot at a glance if the unit is ready for operation or if there is a fault. The devices can be operated in a temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C. They belong to the safety class SIL 2, PL d and protection class IP 67.
