SCHNEEBERGER Inc., a leading innovator in linear technology, has announced a partnership with Sung-il Machinery Co., a leading manufacturer of precision couplings support units for ball screws.

“Our partnership with Sung-il Machinery is the perfect fit. Effective immediately, SCHNEEBERGER can now provide quality Sung-il Machinery ball-screw couplings to complement our offering of high-performance precision ball screws in the U.S.,” said Linda Aylward, SCHNEEBERGER executive vice president, and general manager.

Sung-il Machinery Co. is well known throughout Asia for its precision-engineered high-quality motion control components for automation applications — from machine tools to biomedical to 3-D printing to metrology to semiconductors. Sung-il Machinery offers the industry’s most extensive range of miniature couplings (shaft diameter: 5.5 millimeter – 60 millimeter), safety couplings (inner-diameter: one millimeter to 80 millimeter), support unit for ball screws, connecting shafts, and A.P. Lock keyless bushings.

SCHNEEBERGER’s offering of ball screws deliver industry-leading performance in precision, running properties, wear resistance, and operating temperature — with safe operation up to the physical limit of the driving motors.

“Together, through this strategic partnership, we are expanding our abilities, as trusted brands, to provide innovative, quality solutions and value to our customers,” said Sung-Muk, Kim, CEO, Sung-il Machinery Co.
