Just because Scott Kelly (@StationCDRKelly) wasn’t physically here on Earth during last night’s game doesn’t mean he wasn’t watching. In fact, in my opinion, he had one of the best seats in the house. Though his view was a bit farther than most, he managed to take a couple of couple of cool shots out the window while in orbit.
Kelly tweeted a couple of photos of Levi’s Stadium, the location of this years superbowl game between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, and surprisingly, you can actually see the stadium.
He wasn’t only watching from the window, however. Kelly also tweeted a photo of the game on a TV screen, captioned: “Hosted #SuperBowl party on @space_station, but no one showed up. I would have served nachos! #YearInSpace.”
Not only is he brilliant, he’s quite funny, too.
