Scraper seals for linear bearings

LM76-ETX-Seal-Bearing-4x5-300LM76 has introduced FDA/USDA/3-A Dairy compliant, snap-in ETX Scraper Seals for linear bearings. Machined from Ertalyte PET-P, ETX Scraper Seals have high strength, excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, and excellent dimensional stability at higher temperatures than seals from other materials. Designed with a slight interference fit between bearing ID and shaft, ETX Scraper Seals prevents contaminates and debris from migrating beneath the seal as it scrapes the shaft surface. Ertalyte PET-P’s low frictional characteristics have little impact on drive force. These FDA/USDA/3-A Dairy compliant scraper seals are ideal for: Pharmaceutical, medical, food, and dairy processing applications.

EXT Scraper Seals feature high continuous service temperatures up to 210°F (100°C) and offer good chemical and abrasion resistance, low moisture absorption, and resistance to staining. These linear bearing scraper seals keep bearings free from debris and bacterial contamination, are not affected by biological fluids, mild acids, can be washed down with cleaning agents, and steam cleaned. Snap-in EXT Scraper Seals are available for closed linear bearings, and closed pillow and flange blocks.

LM76 also manufacturers a variety of FDA & USDA compliant bearings and shafting, in inch sizes of .25 to 1.5-in., and a FDA & USDA compliant profile rail and slide system that can easily be integrated into new and existing applications. The bearing options include: Self-lubricating FDA & USDA compliant Teflon composite bearings in a 304 stainless steel shell, and lower cost bearings with a ceramic coated shell and FDA & USDA compliant liner. Bearings are available in closed and open configurations, and are drop-in replacements for all inch sized linear ball bearings.
