Capacitive technology solves the edge detection problem that clear label sensors present. Reducing the size of the sensor allows it to address more applications. That was the goal when Lion Precision developed the LRD3120 Clear Label Sensor. The sensor has a remote sensing head that is only 14 x 18 x 24 mm and connects by a cable to a main sensor body that houses the electronics.
The remote sensing head has M3 threaded holes on several surfaces that provide a selection of mounting options. Mounted in a more accessible area, the electronics body allows operators to easily make any necessary adjustments.
