Conductivity can be an important measurement in phase separations, chromatography, fermentation, clean in place (CIP), monitoring and ultrafiltration applications typically found in pharmaceutical, food, life sciences and other industries. For these applications, Endress+Hauser’s Memosens CLS82D conductivity provides a new sensing option.
The four-electrode CLS82D sensor measures conductivity from 1 µS/cm to 500 mS/cm and temperature from 23 to 248 °F (-5 to 120 °C) with accuracy of ≤4% and repeatability of 0.2%.
With 316L stainless steel construction, easy to clean electropolished surfaces, hygienic process connections and IP68 protection, the sensor can be sterilized in place (SIP) at temperatures up to 284 °F (140 °C) for CIP operations.
