SENSORS Tech Forum, taking place October 10-12, 2011 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, is pleased to announce that it has assembled its inaugural Conference Advisory Board.

“The Board plays a very active role in building the conference by identifying new and exciting technology advances and applications that are driving the rapid growth and utilization of sensor technology,” said Joel Dunkel, President, EventEvolution Management, Inc., producers of the event. “We don’t want to operate in a vacuum when it comes to serving the educational needs of the OEM engineering community—that’s why we assembled a diverse group of engineering professionals to sit on our Board and make sure we cover the unique and ever-changing needs of this evolving market,” continued Dunkel.

SENSORS Tech Forum in conjunction with its conference partner, NASA Tech Briefs, will produce a four-track program as well as a series of pre-conference workshops/tutorials that will take place over the three-day event. From an educational standpoint, the conference will cover Sensor Integration & Networking, Wireless Sensing/Data Acquisition/Testing, Smart Sensors, MEMS, Systems Health Monitoring, Optics/Fiber Optics/Imaging Sensors, Sensor Testing & Calibration, Power/Energy Harvesting & Storage and more.

In addition to the conference, the Forum will showcase 50 industry-leading companies with the goal of helping attendees apply what they learned in the conference as well as those who attend the exhibit hall to meet with companies that can help them with a specific design challenge. SENSORS Tech Forum will also feature dedicated, non-compete exhibit hall hours that allow exhibitors and attendees ample time to do business without the fear of missing sessions or other events taking place.
