Shimpo Drives has released its new VRAS product line, the last of five new servo gear reducer products for servo motors.
VRAS is Shimpo‚’s highest performing reducer, designed to handle the most extreme applications. Standard backlash, an important spec in servo applications, is 3 arc-min. Standard environment protection is IP65, with IP67 available. VRAS is dimensionally interchangeable with several other brands, as compatibility becomes more common in the industry.
Since November of 2008, Shimpo has released a mid-level reducer in parallel and right angle configurations (VRAL and EVRAL), a high-end reducer with rotary hub output (VRG and right angle EVRG), and now the high performing VRAS. These products are added to the existing VRAF economy product line.
