Itasca, IL ‚– Shimpo Drives introduces its VRG product line in North America. VRG is a heavy duty high precision reducer designed to fit well on rotary tables, tool changers, pick and place robots, and many other applications requiring high precision speed reduction.
VRG offers low backlash ‚– 1 arc-min is available ‚– and a hub-style bolt-on output. Quiet modern helical gearing and a very large cross-roller output bearing provide the torque, with high radial and thrust ratings. An optional bolt-in output shaft is available if preferred.
