Siemens Industry Automation Division introduces the Sitrans FUE950 thermal energy calculator, designed for use in hot water, chilled water, and combined cooling/heating applications.
The FUE950 has a modular construction; allowing it to be fitted with optional output modules, including pulse output, pulse input, and current output add-on modules. Users can also opt for a temperature sensor pair and thermo wells.
The FUE950 features a 3.6V Lithium D-cell type battery with a lifespan of up to 16 years. The unit offers instantaneous values for energy and volume flow. The Sitrans FUE950 can be integrated for use with other Sitrans products, including the FUS380, FUE380, F M MAG 5000, F M MAG 6000, F M MAG 8000, FST020, and FUS1010.
