A smart helmet for AR and VR
The Daqri smart helmet can be both an augmented reality and a virtual reality device. This helmet is the developer’s edition. It’s powered by an Intel Core m7-6Y75 processor and includes a number of sensors not visible here, including a gyro, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, and thermometer, as well as a mic and speakers. The main use for the Daqri is as a means of using industrial AR to speed up maintenance tasks, design reviews, troubleshooting, and similar escapades.
