Will we be persuaded to try a Persuasive Electric Vehicle?
Denso displayed the Persuasive Electric Vehicle, or PEV, it unveiled at this year’s CES. Developed with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the PEV seems to be more of a concept than a real vehicle. Specs for its battery and powertrain don’t seem to exist. It is also supposed to be capable of self-driving operation, though the usual sensors and electronics for autonomous mode don’t seem to be present. Nevertheless, it is said to sport interesting technology that includes wireless charging, an air bumper and a ventilation system, a radiant heater for cold days, and breathable seat material.
