Sherborne Sensors has announced the global launch of the T435 ‘L’ series, a range of compact, rugged, single axis gravity referenced servo inclinometers, designed for precision angular measurements within space constrained environments.

SherborneSensors_T435-'L'_Series

Available in ranges from ±3° to ±90°, the fully customizable T435 ‘L’ series offers a high-level 4-20mA (loop powered) signal, proportional to the sine of the available angle of tilt, with resolution down to 0.2 arc seconds and 1,500g mechanical shock survivability. The 4-20mA output of the T435 ‘L’ series is specifically designed for electrically noisy environments, or where inclinometer output signals must travel over long distances.

With a form factor measuring only 61mm (2.41 in.) high and less than 37mm (1.46 in.) in diameter, sensors can be stacked for simultaneous X- & Y-axis measurements of tilt angles. Units are fully self-contained and able to connect to a DC power source and readout or control device, to form a complete operating system. Solder pin terminations are standard. T435 ‘L’ series inclinometers operate on a single 24Vdc supply, and the output series load resistance can be as high as 400?. Due to their small size and precision tilt measurement capabilities, the T435 ‘L’ series is ideal for use in down bore-hole monitoring, platform alignment, level control and calibration, structural monitoring and general high-precision angular measurement applications.
