SPIROL International is pleased to announce the release of the next generation Model DP Drilling and Pinning Machine. The Model DP is a self-contained vertical drilling and pinning machine that eliminates the requirement for manufacturers to maintain tight tolerances and precision drill individual components to ensure that the holes are to the correct size and properly aligned in a multi-component pinned assembly.
The Model DP consists of an automatic high-precision drilling unit, a SPIROL Model CR Pin Insertion Machine and a precision air-powered linear slide unit to move the assembly between the drill unit and installation station. Considering that the drilling and pinning operations are all completed with one machine, the Model DP eliminates the need for operators to handle the components multiple times through several processes. The machine is highly versatile and can be easily configured to accommodate a variety of applications.
