Plastic stepped retractable handles, each with a steel locking mechanism, come in metric sizes.
Retractable handles are appropriate when the handle must be withdrawn during automatic operations. The handle is pulled out of its tapered seating and then tilted. A compression spring locks the handle in both upright and tilted positions. The stepped shape of the handle gives the operator a better grip.
