GGB Bearing Technology is the global leader in high-performance bearing solutions for numerous applications in a wide range of industries. These include the fluid power industry, where manufacturers of hydraulic pumps and motors rely on our self-lubricating metal-polymer bearings and precision aluminum alloy bushing blocks.
With excellent friction and wear properties, our hydrodynamic bearing solutions provide reliable performance and long service life in fluid power applications, where they accommodate hydraulic fluids, water emulsions and high loads and speeds. They also resist fatigue, flow erosion, cavitation from high-pressure fluids and chemical attack, and can be machined for tighter tolerances.
Applications
GGB offers a range of bearings solutions for demanding fluid power applications. These include shaft journal bearings, cradle bearings, thrust blocks, wear plate hydraulic cylinders, rod guide bearings and advanced aluminum alloy bushing blocks.
Gear pumps and motors
GGB pressure-balanced bushing blocks and thrust plates minimize leakage for greater efficiency, while metal-polymer bearings provide reliable performance and long service life.
Vane and centrifugal pumps
GGB bearings provide high load capacity and fatigue resistance, and reduce friction on the drive shaft for greater mechanical and volumetric efficiencies.
Radial and axial piston pumps
GGB shaft journal bearings support the loads and speeds of these pumps. In axial piston pumps slipper plates facilitate rotation of the piston plate, and cradle bearings accommodate swash plate oscillation for variable displacement, pressure and flow.
Gerator and radial piston motors
GGB shaft journal bearings provide ultra-low friction, high load capacity and resistance to wear and cavitation.
Products
GGB bearing solutions for fluid power applications include bushing blocks and thrust plates made of proprietary aluminum alloys and available with pre-installed bearings.
PICAL 2™ alloy provides high mechanical strength. Its chemical composition and physical properties make it ideal for demanding bushing block applications.
SICAL 3™ alloy bushing blocks and thrust plates offer extremely good friction and wear performance. They provide high mechanical strength and load capacity, good friction resilience and excellent machinability.
SICAL 3D™ alloy bushing blocks and thrust plates provide excellent self-lubricity and low friction, as \well as good fatigue and wear properties. They are compatible with oil lubrication.
DTS10™ machinable self-lubricating bearings provide low friction and excellent resistance to wear, chemicals, cavitation, flow erosion and fatigue, and comply with the EU ELV Directive and RoHS regulations.
DP31™ self-lubricating bearings provide low friction and excellent resistance to wear, chemicals, cavitation, flow erosion and fatigue, and comply with the EU ELV Directive and RoHS regulations.
