Avnet Electronics announced the launch of a new On-Ramp Technical Session featuring motor control and drive solutions featuring live presentations and demonstrations of motor types and control techniques, along with Texas Instruments reference designs and design tools.
Featuring Avnet subject matter experts, this On-Ramp illustrates ways to accelerate product development cycle times. These sessions will detail the motor control and drive solutions available for smaller drives, including solenoids, DC or brushless DC and steppers; and for larger drives, such as AC-open loop (inverters) and closed loop (servo) systems that utilize much higher voltages – typically hundreds of volts. Products from TI’s C2000 real-time control, ultra-low power MSP430 and ARM Cortex-M3-based Stellaris microcontrollers will be featured.
