The Koenigsegg Agera RS hit 284.55 mph running on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, which is why the car sits in the Michelin booth. The tests took place on Nevada Highway 160 near Pahrump. The Michelin tires are developed for racing but are street legal. However, calling the Agera RS a production car is a bit of a stretch: Koenigsegg in Sweden says it is only producing 25 of them. The engine is a 5-L V8 developing 1,360 hp paired with a seven-speed paddle-shifter.
