No, it’s not a small aircraft carrier
Though it looks a little like a four-wheeled landing deck, GMC’s Surus (silent utility rover universal superstructure) is a fuel-cell vehicle designed to try out vehicle concepts that could prove useful in off-road environments and natural disasters. It is designed to operate autonomously and has electric drives on each set of wheels. Steering is four-wheel, and the hydrogen storage system is said to be capable of more than 400 miles or range.
