The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) welcomed nine new members to its ranks since the start of the year. The new member companies represent different aspects of the adhesive and sealant supply chain including raw materials suppliers and manufacturers.

The Council is comprised of more than 100 adhesive and sealant manufacturers, raw material and equipment suppliers, distributors, and industry consultants — representing more than 75% of the U.S. industry with operations around the world.
“New members are critical to ASC growth and with implantation of our new long-range plan we welcome new voices to help steer that process,” notes Steve Duren, managing director of Membership and Industry Programs at ASC.
With a soon to be revealed and implementation of the new ASC Long Range Plan, members have a variety of choice when it comes to engaging in new programs and services.
“A focus on sustainability, end user engagement and advocacy are just some of the highlights to the three different areas where we are focusing resources into the future,” says Duren. “We are looking forward to a strong close to 2021 with our convention and leadership conference.”
To achieve ASC’s mission and vision, six strategic objectives guide the organization as part of its long-range plan, including: career education and workforce development, community knowledge and integration, innovation, a unified industry voice, to grow the industry, and organizational effectiveness.
Looking forward, we have an active 2022 including a reveal and implementation of the new long range plan, along with hosting the World Adhesive and Sealant Conference in Chicago April 25-27, 2022.”
