The Würth Group, a global distributor of fastening and assembly materials, has donated $1 million euros to the people affected by the war in Ukraine. In addition, the company organized the collection of donations in kind.
With the donations, the company aims to make a contribution to aid the Ukrainian population and express its solidarity.
“Our thoughts are with our employees and their families, as well as with all people that are currently seeking refuge from the war,” said Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group’s Family Trusts.
The Würth Group is headquarted in Künzelsau, Germany, with global operations. It has 118 employees in Ukraine.
“The people’s safety is the main priority, added Dr Würth. “Throughout the entire company, I see a huge wave of solidarity with those affected, we will support them with all means at our hands.”
