Murrelektronik continues the development of its power supply series with the new Evolution. The three phase power supply unit is available in models from 5 to 40 A, with adjustable output voltages from 22 to 24 V DC.
Murrelektronik’s new Evolution power supply offers continuous two phase operation.
The Evolution power supply is suitable for continuous two phase operation, allowing continued operation in the event that a phase should fail. The unit is also equipped with an extra-power function that can supply up to 50% additional power for a period of up to four seconds in order to power motors or supply capacitive loads.
Murrelektronik developed the power supply unit with a housing that features integrated cooling fins to allow for optimum heat dissipation. This innovative design ensures that the power supply is suitable for installation in small control cabinets. The power supply is also designed for worldwide use and features a wide nominal input voltage range from 3 x 360 to 520 V AC or 480 to 745 V DC. The unit’s broad temperature range from -13°F (25°C) to 158°F (70°C) allows smooth operation for outdoor applications.
Evolution power supply units also have cCSAus certification and are approved for the United States and Canadian markets. They also fulfill the Semi F47 standard, ensuring a stable output voltage in case of voltage drops.
