Tilted diamond signal lamps from RAFI

RAFI-Tilted-Diamond-signal-lampRAFI, a leader in human machine interface controls and components, has developed the Tilted Diamond Series signal lamp in collaboration with renowned product designer Luigi Colani. The signal lamp features four bright, daytime visible LEDs and a diamond-shaped lens that optimizes light refraction. The diamond-shaped lenses in the bezel creates a unique scattered light effect with consistent visibility across 360 degrees, even at long distances. The newest offering, Tilted Diamond Series+3, is now available with tri-color red/green/yellow LEDs in one transparent package.

The Tilted Diamond Series+3 complements the standard individually colored yellow, green, blue, and transparent/white diamond signal lamps. The Tilted Diamond signal lamps are available with plug and play M12 connector systems for error free installation, or traditional cage clamp wiring options.

Offering impact resistance and low maintenance properties, the Tilted Diamond Series is designed for rugged, high vibration environments. The Tilted Diamond Series+3 has a low power consumption of only 0.63W.

“The high light refraction creates outstanding illumination – making it easy to see the signal lamp from a distance from a unique and attractive package. Tilted Diamond 3+ eliminate the need for stacked signal lamps that can be misread in bright conditions,” said Gary Mountford, VP of Components for RAFI-USA. “In addition, the LEDs are energy efficient and do not have to be replaced. This gives you a maintenance-free signal lamp in a package that will make customers end products unique and distinctive.”

A reliable two-screw mount that can be secured from inside or outside the housing ensures rapid assembly. Operating on 24 VDC, the Tilted Diamond Series+3 signal lamps can be supplied with CAGE CLAMP® clamped connections for direct wiring or with 4-pin M12 plugs.

The signal lamps with an installation height of 70.1 mm (CAGE CLAMP®) or 83.55 mm (M12) are designed for a temperature range of between -30°C and +60°C and exhibit an IP65 and IP67 degree of protection on the front side. The range of accessories includes powder coated support tubes which are available in 100 mm, 250 mm, and 400 mm sizes as well as a support tube in a 90° angled and 100/100 mm version.
