Series 1224 SR DC Micromotor has an external motor-diameter of 12 mm and a length of 24 mm. The power to volume ratio is achieved through an ironless rotor and Neodymium rare earth magnets for a stall torque of 5.43 mNm and speeds to 13,800 rpm. With precious metal commutation and inherent low contact resistance, operation can start at low voltages. The 1.5-mm diameter motor shaft ensures high rotational stability. The black housing dissipates heat. It can be combined with a gearhead and encoder for a complete miniature DC-drive system.
