Gain and phase margin for transimpedance amplifier – I am designing a transimpedance amplifier with variable resistive feedback gain. I have a problem with simulating gain and phase margin. For the test input signal I am using an AC current source and perform an AC simulation. When I plot the magnitude, I get a transimpedance gain which is equivalent to the value of my feedback resistance. But for the phase plot I get strange data starting from -180 degrees and decreasing further. What’s wrong? Read more.
230v relay switching problem with RF – I’m facing a relay switching problem when using RF. I’m using the relay in the RF receiver side and tried an RC snubber circuit in the relay coil and relay contacts. The relay switching time differs for the snubber circuit and I can’t switch the relay for the right timing through the RF receiver. Solution? Read more.
Problem with increasing GBW of two-stage fully differential amplifier – I have made a two-state opamp with pmos differential input and a CS stage for the second stage in .18micron technology. I have a GBW of 800MHz and I am trying to get near 3GHz. Any advice on how to increase the GBW? Read more.
H-bridge switching affects the battery supply – The switching part of my circuit is working correctly but the switching is affecting the battery supply. It drops it to 10v in minimum case and brings it up to 14V in the maximum one. I can solve the problem by utilizing another power supply for the H bridge part other than the digital part which produces PWM. How can I use just one power supply and still solve the problem? PN junction depletion width – What will happen when my forward applied bias voltage reaches or exceeds the built-in potential? Is it possible to entirely remove the depletion region in a diode? Read more.
