Trimantec, originally founded as Triad Automation Group (TAG), celebrates 20 years of business in Winston-Salem, N.C. Trimantec was created by co-founders Joe Collins and Jon Freeman, who have since grown the business from a small automation group to a complete manufacturing solutions provider.

Trimantec logoIn 2000, TAG began business in a small garage space with four employees. The company soon relocated to a larger manufacturing site after acquiring West Point Technical Sales, a cable and harness assembly manufacturer. In 2014, Collins and Freeman rebranded the company name from TAG to Trimantec and expanded their services to clients nationally. Trimantec now offers services in machining and fabrication, custom automation, contract manufacturing, and industrial parts sales, including an online web store.

According to President Joe Collins, “To grow the business over the last 20 years has required our company to look for new ways to have a positive impact on our customers’ bottom line. We have always been relationship-driven and work hard to solve customers’ problems so that we are the first company they think to call. We are constantly adding new capabilities to our core competencies to grow our business with existing customers and to add new customers.”

Over the years, Trimantec has earned many certifications following strict review processes and guidelines. Trimantec is ISO 9001:2015 QMS (Quality Service Management) certified, assuring and maintaining high-quality performance. The company is also IPC J-STD-001, IPC WHMA-A-620 certified for its electromechanical manufacturing division. Trimantec is an authorized FANUC robot integrator and recently became an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) this year.

Trimantec dedicates their achievements and milestones to the progression and passion of their team that exists throughout the entire organization. The expertise of each department has made it possible for clients to receive the best products and services available. Moving forward, Trimantec will continue to provide innovative engineering solutions by incorporating the latest technologies (3D printing and laser cutting services) to meet the needs of various industries.
