GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms announced the availability of two new modules for its popular PACSystems RX3i that reduce downtime, provide high resolution for improved process control and high performance sampling of data to improve throughput.
The new isolated Thermocouple analog input modules and isolated Resistive Temperature Device (RTD) module deliver channel-to-channel isolation for performance and hot swap capability to reduce downtime.
In process industries, the throughput of the system is critical. The more throughput you can get through your system, the more revenue you can make. These new modules provide increased performance and advanced diagnostics taking advantage of the high performance RX3i PCI bus.
In applications where the RX3i is controlling process based manufacturing: i.e. Water/Wastewater, Chemical Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas, the thermocouple modules provide advanced temperature input capabilities for applications where it is critical to the control.
