ULT Series direct drive frameless motors come in sizes down to 27 mm diameter with axial length as low as 8 mm and up to a 20 mm through hole, and enable customers to reduce system height. The small size positions are ideal for optics applications as well as traditional direct drive rotary table systems. They also suit precision positioning using a high-resolution encoder or for continuous scanning in medical devices, computer component manufacturing, or optical inspection.
The motors operate from traditional three-phase trapezoidal or sinusoidal motor controllers from 12 to 320 Vdc. Speeds are to 10,000 rpm.
