Hirschmann brand GDM series valve connectors from Belden, St. Louis, Mo., offer high operational reliability and safety, simplified connection and reliable contacts, for reduced installation time. High shock and vibration resistance, coupled with industrial protection up to IP68, ensures maximum operational reliability. In addition, integrated protective circuitry ensures that downstream electronic components are unaffected by voltage surges or electromagnetic interference, enhancing operational safety.
Targeted at machine builders and tool and equipment manufacturers, these valve connectors facilitate both reliable power supplies and secure data transmission for components such as magnetic valves, pressure transducers, temperature sensors and flow monitors.
They are rated for 12, 24, and 48 ac/dc and 120 and 250 V. Rated current is 10 A (with bridge rectifier ac/dc 1 A). The meet IP65/67 protection class, with IP68 on request and operate in temperatures from –40° to 90° C (–55° to 125° available on request).
They feature 2+PE, 3+PE contacts, and M16/PG9 cable gland (M20/PG11 are under development). Conductor size is 1.5 mm² maximum. They are designed for use with the following cables: M16/PG9: 4.5 to 10 mm max. (M20/PG11: 4.5 to 14 mm max.)
