Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. will display the latest in sensor technology with its HDL-32E in booth 934 at the 2011 AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America conference being held August 16-19 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC.
The HDL-32E is a small, lightweight and rugged sensor designed to satisfy the needs of numerous markets including autonomous navigation, 3D mobile mapping, entertainment and security. It features 32 lasers aligned across a 40° vertical Field of View (FOV) and generates 700,000 distance measurement points per second. The HDL-32E is just 5.68 inches high by 3.36 inches wide and weighs 2.4 pounds.
The HDL-32E will also be on display in the Velodyne booth, #N3-475, at the Defense & Security Equipment International (DSEI 2011) conference in London England on September 13-16, and in the Velodyne booth, #262, at the ASIS International 2011 conference in Orlando, FL, on September 19-22.
